Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of building systems across small to mid-sized facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair tasks within the Engineering and Technical Services team, delivering high-quality service and upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and supporting energy management initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of job-related experience or combination of experience and education.
• Must be able to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication skills to exchange information clearly.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Diagnose problems, conduct routine inspections, and implement repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for building code and safety compliance.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
