Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Senior Technician, Maintenance (Calibration) to oversee advanced maintenance of critical pharmaceutical equipment, including autoclaves, fill/pack lines and HVAC systems. The role emphasizes reliability, adherence to EHS, and support for production.

You will execute SAP work orders, mentor junior technicians, lead troubleshooting, and coordinate external contractors as needed to maintain equipment uptime and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 8+ years in manufacturing, pharma preferred.
• Associate/Technical Diploma with 4+ years in manufacturing, pharma preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of EHS requirements, problem solving, communication and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill work order information in SAP on a timely basis and confirm status.
• Serve as SME and on-the-job trainer for technicians.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Oversee the Preventative Maintenance plan and compliance.
• Coordinate outside contractors for projects or supplemental work force.
• Contribute to cross-functional equipment improvement teams.
• Train production & maintenance personnel on electro-mechanical equipment.
• Provide supervisory relief to support priorities and critical tasks.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies with sound technical solutions.
