Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Master Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (9:30 PM–6:00 AM) to maintain complex production equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. The role emphasizes hands-on repair, preventative maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration to minimize downtime.

You will diagnose equipment issues, document activities, and participate in continuous improvement, while adhering to EHS guidelines and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 5+ years in maintenance in ISO/cGMP environment preferred.
• Associate degree in Life Science is preferred and beneficial.
• Advanced electro-mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience with safe work practices, lockout/tagout and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced level preventive and breakdown maintenance of complex production equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, electrical).
• Lead senior-level maintenance activities across manual and basic automated machinery.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment to ensure safe state and quality product post-repair.
• Document all maintenance work and maintain clean, organized workspace; support cross-functional improvements.
