Job summary

Perdue Farms in Lewiston Woodville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the 2nd shift (6:00pm–6:00am, Mon–Fri; weekends as needed). You will diagnose complex machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and improve reliability to keep our plant running safely and efficiently.

This role requires 5–8 years in industrial maintenance, strong hydraulics, electrical, welding, rigging and PLC skills, plus the ability to learn and certify in Perdue's QEW program. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of industrial maintenance and repair experience.
• Expert in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding, and rigging.
• PLC proficiency: intermediate; learning and certification through Perdue QEW program.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly technically complex tasks with independence and judgment.
• Diagnose and repair complex machinery; conduct preventive maintenance; ensure production efficiency.
• Provide Operators with support to improve machine reliability; collaborate with technicians to resolve issues.
