• We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of commercial properties, ensuring all systems and spaces are operating safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical
• Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with lighting, doors, hardware, drywall, flooring, and general fixtures
• Respond to service requests and emergency calls in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor and maintain the functionality and cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and mechanical rooms
• Assist with vendor coordination and oversight during larger repairs or capital projects
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and materials used
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Identify and report potential safety or maintenance issues before they escalate
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Support seasonal and weather-related tasks such as snow removal or HVAC adjustments
• Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school certification preferred
• 2+ years of experience in commercial property maintenance or a related field
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance instructions
