Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician

Compensation: $30–$35/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Senior Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in maintaining full-service commercial office buildings. This hands-on role involves monitoring and servicing building systems, ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and exceptional tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Perform general building repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of life safety systems (e.g., fire alarms, sprinklers)
• Maintain accurate records for maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory
• Support emergency preparedness planning and respond to weather-related incidents
• Assist in budget monitoring and vendor coordination
• Respond promptly to service requests and maintain a high standard of customer service

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial building maintenance or equivalent education
• EPA Universal Certification (Type D) preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Comfortable working at heights, on rooftops, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Proficient with basic computer applications including Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
• Must be available for on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays
