Job summary

Goelzer Envelopes is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support plant operations through installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment. This role aims to maximize uptime, improve equipment reliability, and maintain a safe, high-performing manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a production setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, and production machinery
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, motors, drives, sensors, and controls
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and support root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
• Conduct equipment inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Assist with equipment installations, facility improvements, and capital projects
• Support spare parts planning and recommend inventory levels for critical components
• Mentor junior maintenance team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
