Job summary

Friends of Switchpoint Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to lead advanced troubleshooting and optimize complex equipment and facility systems at our Salt Lake City location.

This senior role provides technical leadership within the maintenance team and mentorship to junior technicians. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, deep knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors and drives, hydraulics, and plumbing, and proficiency with CMMS and regression

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, automation, motors, drives, hydraulics, and plumbing.
Experience with CMMS systems and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Read and interpret advanced electrical schematics, PLC logic, and technical drawings.
Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and root cause analysis initiatives.
