Job summary

Hill's Pet Nutrition, a part of Colgate-Palmolive, is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Tech IV for our Topeka, Kansas facility. The role covers day-to-day maintenance of canning production infrastructure, including electrical systems, PLCs, and waste water operations.

You will troubleshoot, update equipment configurations, and support safe, efficient production. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year maintenance in manufacturing or a technical degree, and ability to meet

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ year industrial maintenance experience or a vocational/technical degree in an industrial maintenance program.
Able to bend, climb, crawl, work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
Physical requirements must be met with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Maintains day-to-day maintenance of infrastructure and equipment for wet canned products.
Troubleshoots packaging, processing, boiler and wastewater systems; maintains power transmission components.
Audits work orders and coordinates parts and resources for effective maintenance.
Uses SAP and related systems to enter and analyze data and track KPIs.
Follows GMP, safety, and food safety policies and works as part of a plant-wide team.
