Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive, through Hill's Pet Nutrition, is seeking an Animal Care Research Technician in Topeka, Kansas. The role focuses on daily care, enrichment and research protocol execution to advance pet nutrition and welfare.

You will contribute to data collection, medical monitoring and adherence to welfare standards. The position requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year in a licensed animal facility, with a flexible schedule for 365-day operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a licensed animal facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule supporting a 365-day operation, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects housing units, enrichment areas, toys and bedding.
• Provide daily care, enrichment, training, and health monitoring for animals.
• Collect samples and assist with veterinary procedures under supervision.
• Record observations and maintain accurate welfare and data logs.
• Support sanitation schedules and adherence to SOPs for animal care.
