Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Pembroke, NC is hiring a Maintenance Tech III to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems in a fast-paced dessert manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate daily workload, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. The role requires hands-on technical skills, teamwork, and flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• 10+ industrial mechanical experience or two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English; Spanish preferred.
• Must have HACCP Certification and Forklift License.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and repair mechanical, minor electrical, HVAC and Refrigeration defects.
• Coordinate and prioritize daily workload for Maintenance Shift Team.
• Complete PMs as scheduled to reduce downtime.
• Participate in RCA and provide corrective actions.
• Mentor junior technicians on maintenance practices and disciplines.
• Document all Maintenance work activity within CMMS Emaint System.
• Support the PM program to continually reduce unscheduled downtime.
