Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and learn to perform simple maintenance tasks.
• Able to multiply, divide, add, and subtract whole numbers to resolve practical problems.
• Operate a computer—PC proficiency; use spreadsheets and reporting software effectively.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Wear/use required PPE and understand written instruction and complete documentation as directed.
• Use a logical approach to troubleshooting issues and prioritizing production needs.
• Recognize problems when they occur and work toward solutions.
• Pay attention to details and pursue quality in accomplishing work duties and tasks.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers, team members, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and diagnose root causes.
• Operate production-related machines.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Collaborate with team to develop maintenance strategies and schedules.
• Train and mentor Level 1 technicians and machine operators.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and document actions.
