Job summary

Highline Aftermarket is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform complex maintenance and repair tasks on production equipment in a Council Bluffs facility. You will operate machines, diagnose issues, and help implement maintenance plans with the team.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, plus the ability to document actions and mentor junior staff while contributing to cost-reduction and productivity gains. Strict safety and attendance standards apply.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn maintenance tasks quickly.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform diagnostics.
• Basic electrical knowledge (110/220/480V) appropriate for maintenance work.
• Capable of using spreadsheets and reporting software; PC skills required.
• Team player with ability to work independently and mentor others.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Operate production-related machines and systems.
• Develop maintenance strategies and schedules with the team.
• Train and mentor Level 1 technicians and Machine Operators.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment; document actions and irregularities.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure safety compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce costs or boost productivity.
• Communicate effectively with supervision, coworkers, and vendors.
• Demonstrate regular attendance and reliable performance.
