MAT HD, LLC is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift (5:00 pm–3:30 am, Mon–Thu) at our Rome, GA site. Compensation starts between $26.00 and $32.00 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for overtime pay.

The role requires heavy maintenance with electrical, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication work across production machinery. Benefits include a full package after 60 days, 401k, PTO, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 6+ years maintenance experience with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Proficient in reading equipment manuals and work orders.
• Willing to submit to background check, employment verification and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently repairs machinery with planning to improve reliability.
• Identify repair needs before breakdowns occur and guide troubleshooting.
• Assist in deciding whether to repair or replace equipment to save costs.
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse to prioritize actions.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing and Production teams.
• Work with vendors for maintenance, repair, and testing equipment.
• Mentor less experienced maintenance personnel.
• Review preventative maintenance processes for improvements.
