Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor IV at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center. This role leads maintenance teams, oversees repair programs and construction projects, and ensures compliance with building codes and accreditation standards.

Work hours are first shift, with some on-call requirements. Qualifications include a four-year degree preferred, five years of supervisory maintenance experience, and a Texas driver license.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with related major is preferred.
• Five years’ supervisory maintenance experience.
• Must possess valid Texas driver license; driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance work and evaluate staff and contractors.
• Plan and supervise renovation and repair projects to meet codes and accreditation standards.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and reporting.
• Coordinate purchases and contract projects within budget and schedule.
• Ensure safety, fire and life-safety compliance across facilities.
