Job summary

Sares Regis Group Residential in Fremont, CA seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor III to oversee apartment renovations, service requests and grounds maintenance for a 246-unit community.

You will coordinate bids, manage outside vendors, and ensure safety and quality standards. Knowledge of all trades, EPA/CPO certifications, and strong communication are essential. Weekend and overtime availability is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor on 200+ units.
• EPA and CPO certifications required.
• Prefer Yardi experience.
• Experience in all trades required.
• Excellent written, communication and computer skills.
• Past supervisory experience a must.
• Driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as job requires.

Responsibilities

• Direct employees and outside contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs and ground maintenance.
• Obtain bids for work from outside contractors and submit to superiors for action.
• Order and receive supplies, appliances and equipment from vendors.
• Coordinate work by outside vendors and inspect completed work for conformance to specs.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service and hours required.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Suggest changes to improve efficiency of the work crew.
• Assist Property Manager in planning and administering maintenance budget.
• Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned.
