Job summary

Ostara in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the site maintenance team at its heavy industrial fertilizer facility. You will build and maintain a preventive/predictive maintenance program, develop and implement a CMMS, and contribute to site leadership and Operational Excellence.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Science in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred) and at least 8 years of maintenance leadership in a continuous chemical manufacturing environment.

• Ability to safely work in and around heavy industrial environment, including moving objects, concentrated chemicals, and transport vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Leads maintenance team for Ostara’s heavy industrial fertilizer facility.
• Develops and implements CMMS and maintenance programs.
• Collaborates with capital projects to deploy new equipment and processes.
• Oversees contractor work, permits, procedures, and training.
• Ensures reliability, performance, and proper changeovers for production equipment.
