Job summary

Solenis in Fort Scott, KS is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and asset management in a chemical plant. You will set long-term maintenance strategies and oversee multi-disciplinary teams to maximize equipment uptime and safety.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will drive PSM, MI programs, manage budgets, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, EHS and Quality to deliver world-class performance in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to drive reliability and asset management improvements.
• Strong knowledge of PM/PdM concepts, MOC/PHAs and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the site’s multi-year maintenance and reliability strategy aligned with business objectives and asset lifecycle needs.
• Lead the maintenance organization across all shifts with accountability for PM/PdM and asset care.
• Drive governance systems, standards, and performance expectations for maintenance activities.
• Oversee RCM, FMEA, and predictive maintenance technologies and RCA processes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinate shutdowns, turnarounds, and outages; manage contractor performance and EHS compliance.
• Partner with Engineering on capital projects, vendor selection, and asset handover.
• Optimize spare parts inventory and ensure CMMS data accuracy.
