Job summary

Cascades in Warrenton is seeking a Technical Expert to lead maintenance improvements across multiple plants and drive reliability enhancements and cost efficiencies.

The role offers a hybrid work model with on-site work and regular travel to eastern US production units. A salary between $100,000 and $130,000 is offered, plus profit sharing, a retirement plan, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in industrial maintenance, reliability, or engineering.
• Strong hands-on field experience in mechanical, electrical, process or industrial maintenance.
• Expertise in maintenance optimization and performance analysis.
• Good command of maintenance management systems.
• Experience with SAP PLM or Spartakus; predictive maintenance expertise and related certifications are assets.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
• Influential leadership with collaboration skills in multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of evolution of maintenance systems (SAP / PLM, Spartakus) and ensure data quality and standardization.
• Structure and optimize preventive maintenance plans and routings.
• Develop and deploy best practices in preventive maintenance.
• Develop and deploy best practices in predictive maintenance (vibration analysis, etc.).
• Carry out and support technical analyses to improve equipment reliability.
• Identify and implement strategies to optimize performance and reduce maintenance costs.
• Conduct diagnostics of maintenance processes and recommend concrete improvements.
• Deploy and standardize best practices across different units.
• Support, train, and develop local teams to strengthen technical autonomy.
