Job summary

Abbott in Casa Grande, AZ, seeks a Maintenance Planner for the Nutrition Plant's 1st shift. You will document work orders, plan PM/PdM activities, and coordinate parts and labor to minimize downtime.

You'll develop labor standards, work with manufacturing and engineering, and support weekend and holiday maintenance. The role requires an associate degree and at least 2 years of related experience in a hands-on maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field or trade school equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related maintenance planning experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve work order documentation in plant maintenance systems (PM, PdM, corrective work orders).
• Assist in executing maintenance windows and scheduling.
• Assess work orders to determine scope, materials, labor and sequencing.
• Estimate labor hours and resources for maintenance activities.
• Prepare job plans, schematics, material lists, tools and safety documentation.
• Coordinate procurement of spare parts to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and update maintenance systems and schedules; align with shifts.
