Job summary

Holly Poultry, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to lead complex troubleshooting and maintain mechanical, electrical, and automation systems in our Baltimore-area facility.

You will mentor junior technicians, oversee major repairs, and support capital projects, with a focus on safety and reliability. Required: 5+ years in industrial maintenance with leadership experience, advanced PLC certification, proficiency with CMMS, blueprints, and ladder logic; strong problem-solving and teamwork

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food, beverage, or similar setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC ladder logic.
• Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high-level mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Lead equipment rebuilds and major overhauls.
• Perform diagnostics on PLC systems and recommend/control adjustments.
• Assist with capital projects, equipment commissioning, and layout planning.
• Mentor and train Mechanic I & II technicians; conduct hands-on demos and evaluations.
• Maintain CMMS records and review performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure safe work practices.
