Job summary

Beasley Flooring Products Inc is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Melbourne, AR. The role focuses on supporting Manufacturing with advanced electromechanical knowledge and preventive maintenance for highly automated equipment.

The position requires 5+ years of experience, ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings, and familiarity with welding and high/low voltage systems. Day/night shifts may be required; company offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced knowledge of industrial electromechanical systems.
Ability to work with automation, production, and computer systems.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings/diagrams.
Basic SMAW welding skills.
Strong math skills.
Good communication across all organizational levels.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Experience with plumbing, pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, bushings and related maintenance.
Working knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
Experience with preventative maintenance on highly automated machinery.
Willingness to work day or night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide high level electromechanical support to Manufacturing and Maintenance teams.
Identify safety improvements and ensure compliance with rules.
Troubleshoot and support machine operations and processes.
Perform maintenance and optimization on high precision equipment.
Identify impending equipment failures and act proactively.
Collaborate on installs, repairs, and preventative work.
Repair electrical systems including VFDs and PLCs.
Assist other departments with maintenance tasks.
Work at heights and in harsh conditions as required.
