Job summary

N/A located in Geneva, IL is seeking two Maintenance Mechanics to support a continuous, around-the-clock process at a chemical plant. Two openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts, on-site with overtime during planned shutdowns.

Pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, with shift differentials of +$1 on 2nd shift and +$2 on 3rd shift. The role requires strong mechanical skills, experience with pumps, mixers, motors, and piping, and a commitment to safety in a heat/hazardous materials environment.

Qualifications

• AAS or maintenance certification or 10+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Chemical, process, or industrial manufacturing experience required.
• Strong mechanical skills with pumps, mixers, motors, and piping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pumps, mixers, reactors, motors, piping, valves, and transfer equipment on a continuous process.
• Rebuild pumps, service mixers, swap motors, and handle wiring.
• Troubleshoot 480V circuits and VFDs; PLC knowledge helps on some shifts.
