Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service a pharmaceutical distribution center with office space in New Albany, OH. The role focuses on maintaining critical building systems including lighting, HVAC equipment, chillers, boilers, and pumps, while leading maintenance staff and ensuring 24/7 operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of building repair and maintenance experience in a commercial/industrial environment.
• Senior-level experience.
• Must complete background and MVR check.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
• Assist operations in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs.
• Complete special tasks such as painting, tenant services requests, and general maintenance.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence, report conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Respond to emergencies effectively.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain safe work areas.
• Maintain compliance with relevant codes and ordinances.
• Handle storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials safely.
• Participate in safety and operational process training.
• Keep work environment clean and safe.
• Document work performed and materials procurement.
• Perform PMs on chillers, air compressors and dryers, boilers, pumps, etc.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
