The Judge Group is seeking a First shift Senior Maintenance Mechanic in the Callow Hill area of Philadelphia. The role requires deep hands-on expertise across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry, with emphasis on production line equipment and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in maintenance functions.
• Extensive hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry.
• Proficient reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Must have own basic tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and monitor production line equipment.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Install and maintain pumps, valves, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain pipe fitting, PLCs/VFDs, and electrical components.
• Manage spare parts inventory and building maintenance tasks.

Job description

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Salary: $30.00 USD Hourly - $38.00 USD Hourly

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a First shift Senior Maintenance Mechanic in Callow Hill, Philadelphia area!

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience with knowledge of:

• Production Line Equipment: troubleshooting, repair, and monitoring
• Predictive and Preventive Maintenance
• Pump installation, repair and maintenance
• Valve installation, repair and maintenance
• Pneumatic equipment installation, repair, and maintenance
• Pipe fitting
• PLC’s and VFD’s
• Motor/gear installation, repair, and maintenance
• Basic tack welding
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Electric: single, two and three phase power up to 480v and AC/DC
• Spare parts inventory management
• General building maintenance

Experience With The Following Equipment Would Be a Plus

• Label machines
• Coding equipment
• Liquid fillers
• Case erectors
• Case packers
• Conveyor lines
• Mixing/Blending Equipment
• Steam heating equipment

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in maintenance functions
• Extensive hands‑on experience in various building trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry)
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb up and down ladders and steps.
• Must have your own basic tools.
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and use all required personal protective equipment.
