Job summary

Thompson Thrift seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance operations at a Class A multifamily community. You will direct the service team, implement preventive maintenance, and safeguard asset integrity while delivering a high-quality resident experience.

This role requires 4+ years in property maintenance, EPA certification, HVAC/CPO preferred, on-call availability, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance systems.
• Experience leading a maintenance team and managing maintenance operations.
• Background in budgets, vendor relationships, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians to ensure high-quality work and timely completion.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations including service requests, preventive maintenance, and make-readies.
• Ensure service requests are completed timely and documentation is accurate.
• Manage apartment turn process to support efficient make-readies and occupancy goals.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs with regular inspections of building systems and common areas.
• Monitor workflows and team productivity to sustain operational efficiency.
• Support budget management by monitoring expenses and inventory.
