Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services seeks a Maintenance Lead/Supervisor for Park Tower in Portland, OR. The role oversees maintenance staff, ensures safety compliance, and coordinates timely repairs to preserve property condition and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in multifamily property maintenance, knowledge of building trades, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of building trades: plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Fluent reading/writing in English; strong communication skills.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage site maintenance and maintenance staff; prioritize work orders.
• Ensure site safety and compliance with OSHA and Guardian policies.
• Coordinate with vendors and other property staff to deliver timely repairs.
• Maintain property condition and curb appeal; manage budgets and inventory.
• Schedule and supervise staff workloads; monitor property systems and equipment.
• Complete required paperwork and reports on time and communicate with Community Manager.
