Job summary

Broadmoor Management in Omaha, NE is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to supervise the maintenance team, handle work orders, and ensure timely apartment turns with quality workmanship. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems, uphold OSHA safety standards, and collaborate with the Community Manager to keep the property in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5+ years of multifamily maintenance or facilities management.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair knowledge.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor the maintenance team for safety and productivity.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor work orders including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Inspect properties and coordinate remodels as needed.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage materials and budget efficiency.
• Provide excellent resident service and communicate maintenance needs with staff.
