Your hard work and leadership make a difference every day—and they won’t go unnoticed.Pay based upon experience.Key Responsibilities & Essential SkillsSupervise, train, and mentor maintenance team members while fostering a safe, productive, and customer-focused work environment.Assign, prioritize, and monitor work orders to ensure service requests, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general building systems, while utilizing strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.Inspect apartments, buildings, and common areas regularly, performing or coordinating repairs as neededOversee and participate in apartment remodel projects.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety procedures, Broadmoor policies, and maintenance best practices while safely operating hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.Coordinate and oversee vendor services and contractor performance while maintaining positive working relationships and ensuring quality workmanship.Manage maintenance materials, supplies, inventory, equipment, and budgets to ensure efficient utilization of resources.Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with residents, addressing maintenance concerns promptly, and working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Utilize property management software, maintenance tracking systems, and Microsoft Office to manage work orders, documentation, and maintenance operations.Participate in an after-hour on-call emergency rotation and respond effectively.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification or vocational training preferred.3–5+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing, facilities management, or a related field, with working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and HVAC systems.HVAC and EPA Universal Certification preferred.Previous supervisory or lead maintenance experience.Experience with preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.Familiarity with property management software.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required by the position.
