Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Maintenance to lead maintenance and reliability for GMP and non-GMP process equipment, with focus on aseptic filling systems and high-precision pharmaceutical machinery.

You will drive continuous improvement, support commissioning/startups, and serve as a technical lead across manufacturing teams. The role is 100% onsite, with responsibilities spanning preventive maintenance, equipment setup, and SOP/documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Education: AS degree or certificate in a science/technical field or a technical trade school.
Experience: 9+ years of experience.
Certifications or Training: None

Responsibilities

Perform advanced preventative and corrective maintenance on process and utility systems in GMP environments.
Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems.
Act as primary responder to equipment issues and ensure full resolution.
Support asset management and reliability initiatives.
Maintain and optimize aseptic filling machines.
Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot and improve packaging and inspection systems.
Ensure aseptic standards and GMP compliance.
