Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director for Asher Point of Hoover in Hoover, AL. The role oversees maintenance, groundskeeping, and overall appearance of the community, ensuring safe operations and compliance with regulations.

You will coordinate preventative maintenance, supervise maintenance staff, and be available for on-call emergencies to maintain resident satisfaction. The position requires hands-on maintenance experience, CDL when required, strong organization, and clear

Qualifications

• Must maintain licensure and certification as required by state and federal agencies.
• Able to lift between 50 and 100 lbs.
• Must possess or be willing to acquire a valid driver's license to drive on company time as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Role involves moderate to heavy exertion and after-hours availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the community including grounds, fences, parking areas, ditches, community houses, swimming pools, spas, furniture, appliances, HVAC, and lift stations.
• Maintain service equipment, power equipment, tools, and kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and track repairs using work order system.
• Communicate with residents about repair status.
• Provide full-service, on-call maintenance 24/7.
• Inspect building, grounds, and equipment daily.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety.
