Job summary

Marquis Group in Texarkana, AR is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee daily operations of the maintenance and engineering teams. You will manage building systems, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors to keep property in top condition.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety compliance, plus the ability to lead a team, manage budgets, and respond quickly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property including offices, work areas, public areas, and equipment through preventive maintenance.
• Manages physical operations including HVAC, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems.
• Schedule in-house work and external vendors; ensure work meets quality standards.
• Interface with management to receive maintenance needs and respond promptly.
• Review renovation/new construction plans with engineers and contractors.
• Monitor inventory; approve purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
