Job summary

The Marvin Engineering Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of CNC machines, ovens, paint booths, and facility systems across multiple plants. You will develop TPM and PdM programs and troubleshoot complex issues to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You will read mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams, implement PM strategies, and collaborate with operations and safety teams to meet quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in industrial maintenance engineering supporting CNC equipment and automation.
• Ability to read and apply mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Expert-level troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems.
• Experience developing PM and PdM strategies for complex machinery.
• Knowledge of safety standards (LOTO, NFPA, OSHA) in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance for CNC machines, ovens, paint booths, and facility systems to maximize uptime.
• Develops TPM/PM and PdM programs for production equipment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoots complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls issues to restore safe operation.
• Coordinates downtime planning with production, engineering, and maintenance leadership.
• Reviews performance data and trends to recommend upgrades or improvements.
• Creates and updates PM procedures, work instructions, and equipment specs.
• Supports installation, commissioning, and validation of new CNC machines and equipment.
• Ensures maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental standards.
