Job summary

Entegris in Decatur, TX is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support to the maintenance organization, improving OEE and reducing costs. You will work closely with the maintenance team to deliver day-to-day support as well as strategic guidance related to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years in the Maintenance Department, plus experience with RCFA, vibration analysis, SAP, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical problem-solving acumen.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Root Cause Failure Analysis training and leadership.
• Knowledge of complex process systems and maintenance of equipment.
• Familiarity with vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis or other predictive maintenance technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RCFA of failed equipment to determine cause and preventive actions.
• Maintain 'bad actor' equipment list and develop action plans.
• Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules for critical machinery.
• Use predictive maintenance tools and data analytics to anticipate issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design, modification, and optimization of equipment.
• Provide training to maintenance staff on procedures.
• Analyze spare parts to ensure adequate stock.

The Role:

The Senior MaintenanceEngineeris responsibleforproviding technical support to the maintenance organizationin an effort toimprove overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and decrease maintenance costs.The role works closely with the maintenance team to provide both day-to-day support as well as longerterm,strategicguidance to the organization.

In this role you will:

• Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of failed equipment todeterminewhat failed, why, and what must be done to prevent future recurrence
• Maintain listing of "bad actor" equipment thatposes significant risk to OEE and maintenance costs; develop action plans to address bad actors
• Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules and protocols for critical machinery
• Utilize predictive maintenance tools and data analytics toanticipateand address equipment issues before theyimpactproduction
• Collaborate with engineering teams on the design, modification, and optimization of production equipment and systems
• Provide training to maintenance staffon equipment maintenance procedures
• Conduct analyses of spare parts to ensurestock is adequate to support business needs.

WHAT WEEK SEEK:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineeringor equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or similar setting
• 2+ years of experience inthe MaintenanceDepartment
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; must build relationships and trust with teams
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and develop solutions; mustidentifyand collaborate with multiple resources to resolve issues
• Knowledge of complex process systems and the hazards, failure modes, and maintenance of the associated equipment
• Trained in Root Cause Failure Analysis and has led investigation meetings
• Understanding of various maintenance restoration techniques and methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Familiarity with vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, or other predictive maintenance technologies.
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), or similar reliability methodologies.
• Experience managing or supporting capital projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma principles.

Outstanding candidates will have:

• Experience managing capital projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, contractor coordination, and project closeout.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, maintainability, and cost reduction.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve energy efficiency, equipment uptime, and maintenance effectiveness.

Your success will be measured by:

• Performance trends of KPIs of maintenance work management process
• Maintenance cost performance
• Ability to work with a diverse team in terms of background and skill sets to achieve greater levels of efficiency and manufacturing robustness.
• Ability to manage time and balanceshort termneeds of the day-to-day production environment withlong termproject deliverables and timelines.

• Compensation: $91,000 - $114,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
