Job summary

Materion is seeking a Maintenance Electrician Technician to uphold safety and keep electrical systems in top condition. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair power and control systems, and participate in upgrades and documentation changes.

The role requires five years of electrical experience, two years in controls, PLC literacy, and automation knowledge. A high school or vocational degree is expected, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

Requires a high school or vocational school degree or equivalent.
Minimum five years of electric power and two years control experience.
PLC literacy with current and past technologies.
Industrial automation and controls experience.
Working knowledge of CNC equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical power and control systems, circuitry and components.
Repair and calibrate electrical/electronic controls as assigned.
Install/wire new electrical equipment and projects.
Assist in capital projects, power/control upgrades and changes, and electrical documentation upgrade and change.
Perform preventative maintenance work as scheduled.
Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains high quality standards.
