LTIMindtree is seeking a senior mainframe developer in the United States (Alpharetta, GA area) to participate in requirements analysis, impact assessment, and to design, develop, and maintain mainframe components. Qualifications
- Hands-on senior resources with expertise in mainframe technologies (Cobol, JCL).
- Expertise in VSAM, DB2 and CICS required.
- Ability to set up and drive a project team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis and impact assessment for enhancements, defect fixes, modernization or regulatory changes.
- Design, develop, enhance and maintain application components using standard mainframe technologies ensuring alignment with client's approved coding, security and architectural standards.
- Perform analysis, coding, unit testing and documentation for batch programs, online transactions and interfaces running on the mainframe platform.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and defects.
- Support system testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) by providing defect fixes, data corrections and validation support.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, release planning and operational readiness activities.
