Job summary

FIS is hiring for a mainframe-focused role based in Columbus or Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid schedule (up to 3 days in office). You must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside locally.

The role requires COBOL, IMS, and DB2 expertise and involves participating in the full SDLC within an Agile Scrum framework. Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in coding and data analysis, with strong collaboration skills and the ability to design and stand up complex software

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or related field.
• Typically 6+ years of professional coding and development experience.
• Cobol, IMS, & DB2 (Required)

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle using Agile Scrum.
• Design, create, and deliver moderately complex program specifications across projects.
• Provide broad knowledge of analysis, modification, and testing of complex code.
• Advise leadership on standards to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with testing, validation and corrective measures for complex code needs.
