Job summary

You will join a senior mainframe team, handling high-visibility incidents, coordinating with global IT and business units, driving improvements, and acting as a service owner for critical infrastructure operations.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement.
• Good time management skills with high sense of urgency and dedication.
• Clear personal work ethic that inspires quality and enthusiasm.
• Ability and willingness to operate within tightly controlled operational procedures.
• 3+ years’ experience across IBM Z platform architecture.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience.
• Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline.
• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective analytic/diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for mainframe service and execution of high-visibility activities.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement improvements to reduce toil and enhance service.
• Engage with multiple functions and regions to ensure performance of processes in a large IT environment.
• Develop and share knowledge, coach junior analysts, and introduce automation for repetitive tasks.
• Create project plans, perform impact analyses, and provide resolutions to restore services.
