Responsibilities

• Support several mission-critical systems and processes.
• Provide technical expertise for ongoing operations and applications.
• Lead data conversion efforts and implement application enhancements.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues and provide production support.
• Participate in effort estimation and planning for system modifications.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with standards.

Skills

Experience in Software development and debugging using Mainframe technologies

Hands-on experience in Programming using DB2(Z/OS)

Experience with source code management tool like Endevor

Experience with QMF, SPUFI, and FILEAID/CA-tools

Experience in debugging COBOL/DB2 application code

Experience with X/PTR reporting tool

Experience with job scheduler tools

Experience with structured system development methodologies

Experience in business requirements gathering

Excellent written and presentation skills using Microsoft Office

Ability to develop good working relationships with clients

Ability to communicate technical concepts to business users

Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational skills

Participate in on-call support for nightly batch processes
