Job summary

Infinity Solutions in Ontario, CA is seeking a Mainframe Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in banking-focused mainframe environments. You will maintain and restore IMS/DB2 databases, handle image copies, and manage DBRC recoveries while supporting test environments with automation.

The role requires knowledge of IMS transactions, CICS commands, SDSF monitoring, and Endevor for code promotion. Strong scripting (CLIST/REXX) and automation experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mainframe experience in banking domain preferred.
• Experience maintaining DB2, IMS image copy and DBRC recovery jobs.
• Knowledge of IMS transactions and commands.
• Experience in creating and restoring IMS and DB2 databases.
• Ability to monitor database space and schedule reorg/expansion.
• Experience with IMS backup/restore and DB2 unload/reload processes.
• Familiarity with SDSF, FTP and CICS commands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain DB2/IMS databases and related recovery jobs.
• Coordinate rebuilds, promotions, and test environment automations.
• Develop tools to improve test environments and procedures.
• Maintain scripts and CLIST/REXX panels for automation.
• Support end-to-end test cycles with IMS/DB2 environments.
• Work with Endevor for code rebuild and promotions.
