Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States (Atlanta) is seeking a seasoned COBOL developer with 8+ years of experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and related tools. The role involves migrating legacy systems to distributed environments, applying Lean/Agile practices, and owning modules from design to testing.

You'll lead offshore teams, collaborate with product owners, ensure performance standards, and deliver scalable end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and related tools.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to distributed environments.
• Familiar with Lean/Agile/XP, CI, documentation and testing practices.

• Apply principles of SDLC and Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices and Testing Techniques
