Job summary

Photon is seeking a Business System Analyst to join our Digital Engineering team in Dallas, TX. You will bridge legacy mainframe systems with modern reporting platforms, analyze batch flows, and define data structures to support WealthScape reporting.

You will collaborate with data modelers and cross-functional teams to create optimal table designs, mappings, and schemas, while contributing to Agile ceremonies and UAT/test automation practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Analysis experience in IT/finance
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field
• Strong mainframe developer background or hands-on mainframe experience
• Experience in data analysis, data mapping, feasibility studies, gap analysis, use case development, and UAT
• Knowledge of API development, cloud platforms (AWS), data design, batch processing, event processing, and workflow automation
• Desirable exposure to WealthScape or similar financial platforms
• Strong Agile proficiency and experience in cross-functional, matrixed teams
• Outstanding analytical, facilitation, communication, negotiation, and technical problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing mainframe batch reporting flows and trace data sources
• Define off-mainframe data requirements for WealthScape reporting
• Collaborate with data modelers to design optimal table structures and mappings
• Conduct gap analyses and system feasibility across multi-application environments
• Create user stories, flowcharts, and participate in Agile ceremonies
• Support UAT and test automation practices across projects
