Job summary

Blackbuck Insights, LLC seeks a Senior Data Analyst for its Wealth Management Practice to lead data discovery, profiling, and STTM for enterprise data platforms. You will bridge wealth business teams with ETL engineers, handling complex client profiles, accounts, holdings, and billing data.

The role requires hands-on SQL expertise, STTM documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Azure-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data analysis or data modeling in enterprise environments.
• Advanced SQL with multi-table JOINs, CTEs, window functions, subqueries, and analytical functions.
• Experience creating explicit STTM mappings for ETL/ELT pipelines or data warehouse migrations.
• Strong data quality, profiling, and data integrity skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to review technical specifications with developers and architects.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Data Analytics, Finance, or related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Perform data profiling and pattern analysis across relational databases, data lakes, and warehouses.
• Design, author, and maintain STTM documents detailing rules, transformations, data types, keys, and pipeline logic.
• Collaborate with ETL/Data Engineers; walkthrough mappings and clarify edge cases and business intent.
• Establish data quality metrics and governance with stakeholders to remediate data gaps.
• Analyze wealth management domain entities such as households, portfolios, asset classes, holdings, and billing.
• Communicate data insights and mapping dependencies to technical and business stakeholders.
• Support testing by validating transformed datasets against target specifications.
