Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced mainframe developer with 10+ years of experience in developing and maintaining ACH PEP+ code. You will deliver technically complex solutions, support system integration, and partner with product owners to understand goals and offer design recommendations during development.

This role emphasizes robust unit testing, security controls, and Agile practices within a banking context.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.
In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification.

Responsibilities

Develop customized coding and software integration using project tools.
Lead and participate in development, testing, implementation and maintenance of complex solutions.
Build monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for production apps.
Implement and maintain security controls per company standards.
Lead moderately complex projects and support larger initiatives.
Solve complex technical and operational problems and mentor teammates.
