Job summary

Our client, ManpowerGroup, is seeking a Senior MADtech Engineer in Irving, Texas (Hybrid: 3 days in office). The role focuses on building real-time data pipelines and agentic decisioning with Google Vertex AI and a suite of martech tools.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on software/data engineering in cloud environments (GCP preferred) and strong experience with BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub, and Python/Java/Go. Collaboration with vendor partners is key.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software and/or data engineering in modern cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Proficiency with BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub, and Python (with Java/Go across Vertex AI / Reasoning Engine).
• Hands-on experience managing real-time event pipelines and API integrations, including tag routing systems (MetaRouter, Segment, or Tealium).
• Working knowledge of martech and audience segmentation tools (GrowthLoop), dynamic optimization platforms (Optimizely), and marketing automation systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills to balance real-time vs. batch needs while maintaining low latency and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core pipeline components from real-time ingestion through MetaRouter and Pub/Sub into BigQuery and Cloud Spanner.
• Develop and optimize agentic decisioning logic inside Google Reasoning Engine for real-time offer prioritization and dynamic campaigns.
• Implement sub-millisecond profile querying using Cloud Spanner for low-latency personalization and decision workflows.
• Integrate decision outputs with GrowthLoop, Optimizely, and downstream platforms (REACH, GMP, Ad-Tech, Real-Time App Overlays).
• Collaborate daily through standups, code reviews, and architectural refinement with vendor partners such as Google, GrowthLoop, and MetaRouter.

As a Senior MADtech Engineer, you will be part of the engineering organization supporting the data, automation, and martech execution initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a hands‑on builder mindset, strong real‑time data streaming experience, and a collaborative approach to integrating AI‑driven decisioning with production‑grade pipelines.

What's the Job?

• Build and maintain core pipeline components that move from real‑time event ingestion through MetaRouter and Pub/Sub, into BigQuery and Cloud Spanner.

• Develop and optimize agentic decisioning logic inside Google Reasoning Engine to support real‑time offer prioritization, content metadata, and dynamic campaign generation.

• Implement sub‑millisecond profile querying using Cloud Spanner to power low‑latency personalization and decision workflows.

• Integrate decision outputs with GrowthLoop (Audience Membership & Segment Syndication), Optimizely (Active feature flags & targeting rules), and downstream destination platforms (REACH, GMP, Ad‑Tech, Real‑Time App Overlays).

• Collaborate daily through standups, code reviews, and architectural refinement discussions, including joint engineering sessions with vendor partners such as Google, GrowthLoop, and MetaRouter.

• 7+ years of hands‑on software and/or data engineering experience in modern cloud environments (GCP preferred).

• Proficiency with BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub, and Python (with experience across Python/Java/Go code bases supporting Vertex AI / Reasoning Engine).

• Hands‑on experience managing real‑time event pipelines and API integrations, including tag routing systems (MetaRouter, Segment, or Tealium).

• Working knowledge of martech and audience segmentation tools (GrowthLoop), dynamic optimization platforms (Optimizely), and marketing automation systems.

• Strong problem‑solving skills to balance real‑time vs. batch architectural needs while maintaining low latency, data privacy standards, and high reliability.
