Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in commodities trading or commodity risk management at a hedge fund or bank.
- Ability to engage senior leaders as an independent risk manager.
- Comfort with probability and statistics in financial risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate understanding of loss potential for individual bets and commodity trading.
- Act as a partner to Risk and Investment teams for risk approvals.
- Monitor market and portfolio risk profiles and align them with risk appetite.
