Job summary

Parker Aerospace in the Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is seeking an experienced machinist to operate conventional and NC machining centers on semi-complex parts. You will work from blueprints, planning sheets and verbal instructions, contributing to lean initiatives to boost productivity.

You will set up and run machines, adjust tools, inspect parts with gauges and micrometers, and collaborate in a team environment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of related machining experience.
• Ability to set up machines.
• Reads blueprints and follows specifications.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run multiple production machines to produce parts.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and tool depths for quality parts.
• Inspect parts using gauges and measurement tools.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and reliability.
• Support lean initiatives to reduce costs.
