Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Torrance, CA seeks an experienced machinist to enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency. You will set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts, interpreting blueprints and specs to guide machining.

You will perform quality inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and uphold safety standards while mentoring teammates and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machinist experience.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and quality control.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with CNC machines and manual machining equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Perform quality checks to ensure tolerances and standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime.
