Job summary

Celestica in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Machinist 3 to plan, lay out and execute machining operations on manual and CNC equipment, build molds and fixtures, and repair components.

You will work from complex drawings, verify dimensions, create SolidWorks models as needed, and mentor other team members while maintaining a safe, organized shop.

The role requires a high school diploma, 11–14 years of experience, and a strong commitment to quality with GD&T and CAM software exposure.

Qualifications

• Certifications as defined by site operations.
• In-depth knowledge of machine operations and GD&T.
• Ability to set up, operate, calibrate and maintain machines and tools.
• Strong focus on quality and dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform complex machining and grinding operations with advanced setups.
• Create SolidWorks models for plate fabrication as needed.
• Assist with mold setup and maintenance of plastic injection molds.
• Ensure quality and dimensional accuracy; work with minimal supervision.
• Train and assist other employees as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety practices.
