Job summary

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited is seeking a seasoned Millwright/Journeyman Machinist to maintain rotating equipment and perform preventive maintenance across our Texas facility. You will dismantle, assess, and rebuild components, using precision tools and SAP-tracked workflows.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of rotating equipment experience, NCCER Millwright certification, and TWIC eligibility.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience working with rotating equipment as a journeyman machinist/millwright.
Machine shop experience: manual lathe, balance machine, milling machine, drill press, and surface grinders.
NCCER Millwright certificate or comparable technical certificate is a plus; TWIC credential is desirable.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using maintenance tools, hoists, cranes, ladders, and other equipment.
Inspect parts with measurement devices (calipers, micrometers) and replace or rebuild as needed.
Maintain inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies and communicate needs to the team.
Collaborate with colleagues and perform hand-offs; utilize SAP for tracking daily maintenance activities.
Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards and participate in required training.
